What is your return policy?
We offer full refunds within 10 calendar days on cones that are unused and unworn. Items must be shipped back to us in the original packing box and bag they came in. We cannot provide refunds on cones that have already been used by your pet or show any signs of wear and tear.

What about exchanges?
We provide size exchanges within 10 calendar days, only if the returned cone has never been used and is in brand new condition. Be sure to select the correct cone size for your pet based on the chart and measuring guide provided on our Shop page. You can also click the Sizing & Fit link in the page footer. You'll be able to find all sizing information there.

What size cone should I get?

You'll be able to find all sizing information there. Don't be afraid to play with the velcro fasteners! The velcro we use is extra strong, which means you can lay the strips either directly on top of each other vertically, or diagonally to accommodate your pet's neck size. While our cones are designed to be adjustable, we strongly recommend measuring your pet's neck circumference and length between the tip of the nose to the base of the neck.
Oops! My dog chewed it up. Can you replace it?
Our cones can withstand normal daily wear and are designed to provide comfort for your pet while they rest and recover. Please supervise your pet when they are wearing it and do not leave your pet unattended. They are not to be used as toys and should be stored away when not in use. Unfortunately, we will not be able to replace cones that have been damaged through misuse. This product may not be suited for large, rambunctious pets.
Is Softee Cone suitable for pets other than dogs?
Softee Cone is designed mainly for dogs, but may be suitable for large cats as long as their neck and head proportions fall within the range of what's listed on the size chart. Does the cone guarantee that my pets won't be able to scratch or bite at themselves?
Please remember that Softee Cone is an alternative to a plastic cone and as with any medical devices, please supervise your pet when they are wearing it and do not leave your pet unattended. You know your pets better than we do; therefore, please use at your discretion. We care about pet safety. This product may not be suited for large, rambunctious pets.
How do I clean my Softee Cone?
Remove the cone off of your pet and lay it down on a flat surface. Then wet a clean cloth with warm water and add a little bit of gentle soap. Rub the cloth in circular motions gently across the cone's surface, focusing on any visible surface stains. Once you're finished with both sides of the cone, rinse your cloth and use it to wipe your cone down a second time. Then, use dry paper towels to pat it dry. Please make sure that it is completely dry before putting it back onto your pet.
How do I use the elastic security loops?
Elastic loops at the base of the cone are there for you to insert your pet collar through for extra security. Loops have stretch to fit more collar widths but are designed to be used with collars that are appropriate for your pet size. Small and Medium cone loops fit collars about 1.25" W and Large cone loops fit collars about 1.5" W.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship within the US. We would love to ship to other countries but because we are a small business, shipping costs would not be feasible at this time. However, if you are really interested in making a purchase, please email us directly at hello@softeecone.com and we'll see what we can do to help!

Our cones are designed to be super lightweight so that they don't impede the pet's ability to move around comfortably. Here are their approximate weight measurements in ounces.
